What is in a name?

No, the name has nothing to do with Shakespeare but it does have something to do with another story teller.

The original 3 owners of the salon were “groupies” to a band back when they were working together early in their careers.  On many occasions, the girls would head out for a weekend of fun down in the Outer Banks where the band frequently played.

The band, Red Letter Day, have an original song they wrote titled ‘4 Bowls of Color’!

The song speaks of love and painting the town together, so as stylists that love to do color and love each other, the name of their salon was a no-brainer. But, as you can see, the 4 was switched to a 3 to represent them.

Today, the song still runs through the foundation of their salon family with the love they all have in each other and the talent they all possess in the hair color world!
